Above is a fine example of an early-war Assmann made FJ badge. The wreath is blackened and
the highlights polished to provide contrast, the eagle is gilded brass and attached to the wreath with 2 rivets.
The Assmann logo 'A' is stamped on to the reverse of the diving eagle. A very fine badge
with minimal wear!
Also, a name has been scratched on to the reverse of the wreath which appears to be "Wucher"
on one side, the other side also has something but as yet this is unreadable.
