This example by the firm Godet of Berlin is marked with their Prasidialkanzlei "Lieferant"
number '21' on the underside of the pin, within a rectangle. This can only be viewed when the pin is open.
All German Crosses follow the same main design and construction with the main differences
being found in the design of the gilded wreath on the obverse and the number and style of the rivets which secure all the
layers together.
With the Godet made pieces it can be seen that the wreath is much more intricate and detailed
than the Klein and Zimmermann pieces and the quality of the gilding is far superior.
Their rivets are small, solid domed type and always six are used.
In the past, it was though that the 6-rivet design was of Austrian origin. I do not know where this was sourced from
but it is totally incorrect.
