This example by the firm Deschler of Munich is marked with their Prasidialkanzlei "Lieferant"
number '1' on the outside of the pin.

All German Cross's follow the same main design and construction with the main differences
being found in the design of the gilded wreath on the obverse and the number and style of the rivet which secure all the layers
                           together.

With this Deschler made piece it can be seen that the wreath is much more intricate and detailed
than the Klein and Zimmermann wreaths but similar to the Godet. Also, the quality of the gilding is superior.

The rivets are small domed type and on this later type 4 are used. Deschler are attributed
to examples with 6 and 10 rivets which are from an earlier period and as such all these examples are unmarked. The 6-rivet
Deschler should not be confused with the 6-rivet Godet.
