This is the 1st pattern Juncker manufactured pilots badge. These are pre-war badges,
very slim in construction, with fine detail.
Some collectors maintain that these are the earliest badges produced by Juncker
and marked with CEJ within a rectangle. Some examples (especially those marked CEJ) have the small section between the legs
cut-out.
