This silver class with swords is made from '835' silver. It retains almost all of its frosted
finish, with the highlights polished.
I have researched differences in these crosses, namely the sword hilts and the eagles.
Each manufacturer has their own style and from examining known originals with makers marks I can conclude that this cross
was manufactured by the firm Deumer.
I have the presentation case for this cross, which has a dark blue exterior and a
silver rectangular opener button. The interior has a dark blue velvet base with a recess for the pin, and a blue satin padded
upper section.
