The following pilot/observer badge is from the collection of Gene Ashton, and shown here with his kind permission. It's constructed from aluminium, marked A and DRGM on the reverse of the wreath.

This Assmann manufactured Pilot/Observer badge has got great detailing, especially around the wreath. The manufacturers code 'A' can be seen on the obverse, at the top left of the wreath, while the letters 'D.R.G.M.' are found on the top right. (Ashton Collection)
